Krystian Swinton was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. She was first introduced to dance at the tender age of 8years old by participating in an after school program where she studied West African dance. While attending the after school dance classes, her interest for dance was peaked and she began her formal dance training as a member of the Esoke Cultural Arts Ensemble. As she continued to develop, her interest in dance continued to grow. She decided to go to Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts where she studied classical ballet, modern and jazz under Ingrid Hadley Jackson. Currently, Krystian works as an apprentice teacher at the Academy for the Integrated Arts and serves as the ministry leader for the Macedonia Praise Dance Ministry. She would like to acknowledge God, her mother, her family and friends for their love and encouragement and continued support!
