KaMille Washington

Dancer

KaMille Washington is quoted saying, “Dance Feeds My Soul”. KaMille began dancing in her church dance ministry at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist church at the tender age of 12 years old. KaMille continued her love and pursuit of dance when she attended Paseo Academy Highschool (℅ 98) where she was trained in ballet, modern and jazz technique. After high school and college, everything came full circle for KaMille when she returned to Zion Grove where she had the opportunity to co-lead the dance ministry for several years. KaMille’s love and passion to serve God through dance continued to grow and she became the founder and choreographer of the dance ministry,  Anointed Vessels of Praise. In 2016, KaMille became a member of Victory In Motion Contemporary Dance Company under the direction of Christopher J. Peacock. Through dance KaMille has found healing, wholeness, creative expression and, in her life in general, has learned to embrace her journey with hope, faith and love.
