Darryel Drew

Bartholomew

From a young age, Minister Darryel Drew was exposed to the blessed nature of Music Ministry by his family of musicians, singers, and directors in a Baptist church in the urban community. Since the age of 7, he has sang in the church choir and played the drums in the church band. He also learned to play the viola. Minister Darryel took a keen interest in worship through music and began his career as a musician at the tender age of 12 when he transitioned to playing the organ. His love of music and commitment to ministry was furthered upon his call to be a Minister of Music in 1997. Over the last 25 years, he has passionately devoted his time to increasing his knowledge of God’s Word and evolving as a Music Minister. He continues to lend his talents to various Christian ministries that call upon his service from funeral services, weddings, and being the guest clinician and musician for gospel musical workshops. He has traveled to other countries contributing his musical gifts and has shared the stage with the likes of Oleta Adams, Kathy Taylor Brown, Cortez Vaughn, Norman Hutchins, Rance Allen, Timothy Wright, Chester D.T Baldwin, Richard Smallwood, Vashawn Mitchell, Patrick Bradley. He is currently serving as a Minister of Music for the Gospel Music Workshop of America – Kansas City Chapter.
