Throughout her education, Courtney danced with notable companies including Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theater during high school, and The Ailey Company in Memoria during college. She also performed with Störling Dance Theater and a local church’s dance ministry in the Dominican Republic. Courtney’s preferred style is the codified modern technique, Horton.

After completing her degree in Fine Arts, Courtney transferred from the University of Arizona to the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Presently, she imparts her knowledge and passion as an elementary school dance teacher, while also engaging in various dance projects.

Entering her first year in The XII Musical, Courtney values how the production has deepened her faith and relationship with Christ through its poignant portrayal of His life and teachings.
