A native of Kansas City, KS, Angela is a true “church baby” serving in ministry under the Pastoral leadership of her Father and Mother, The late Bishop Ervin Sims, Jr., and Mother Mary K. Sims and has worked in a wide range of activities in the church. This foundation helped to develop her God-given gifts and talents. Creatively, Angela crafts, acts, and is a published author and playwright. She has performed in and directed stage productions locally and across the country. As a DIY’er and Christian blogger, she created www.PurpleCraftDiva.com where she combines her love for creative ideas with her passion for sharing Christ with others. She jokingly tells people she blogs about crafts and Jesus. She states, “We were called to be creative because we were created by a creative God.” Professionally, Angela has a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and is the full-time Church Administrator at Mt. Carmel Church in Kansas City, KS. She started her first business at age 10, which ignited an entrepreneurial spirit at an early age. Angela has launched several businesses with more to come. She knows God has purpose for her life and is excited about what’s next.
